Could you supervise offenders doing Unpaid Work?

West Yorkshire Probation Board is interested in hearing from voluntary charitable groups or Social Enterprises in the Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield districts who would be able to supervise groups of offenders on Unpaid Work requirements made by the courts.

We currently have successful partnerships with a variety of voluntary and charitable organisations, Help the Aged, St Vincent de Paul, YMCA, the Able Project but are looking to expand our partnership work in the Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield districts.

If you think your organisation could work in partnership with the Probation Service to supervise offenders on unpaid work then you may be interested in attending a briefing day to be held at the National Children's Centre, Brian Jackson House, New North Parade, Huddersfield HD1 5JP on Monday 1st December 2008 10am-12pm..
