In the section about the West Yorkshire Probation Trust you can find out about the purpose of the Trust Board, how the members are selected and their main responsibilities. You can also read brief biographies about each member and find out dates for forthcoming meetings.
We produce an Area Business Plan and Annual report each year. These are available to view as related downloads. They explain why we are in business and outline our objectives and priorities for the year ahead.
The Diversity and Equality Section lists our principles and outlines what we require of our staff in relation to diversity and equality. Here you can also find the diversity and equality policy.
The National Offender Management Service ('NOMS') page - following the publication of the Carter Report in January 2004, it was decided to bring the Prison and Probation Service under one parent body known as NOMS. On this page you will find out how the old system used to work, and what the creation of NOMS actually means for the future.
There is an active Retired Staff Group that runs a range of events for former staff.
